Is anyone really going to disagree with that? I think it rings true, if we really cared about our young men and women, then we would bring them home.
Our young men and women were sent to Iraq on lies, yet now we must stay.... just another lie- yet it's accepted as truth because the Democratic Leadership agrees with Bush. The new House Dem Leader supports the Repub plan to send more troops, & cutting the funding (how Vietnam ended) is not an option.
Hmmm, why don't the "Opposition Leaders" oppose the war?
It has never been more clear that the majority of Both Parties do not care about what the American people wish. They do not care about our troops, or about the Iraqis.
The troops want out, the Iraqis don't think we're liberating them anymore...
But Bush says we're not leaving as long as he's president.
Why? Could it be the:
Hmmm- which makes more sense- all that oil and power stuff, or the guys that lied to start the war telling us we must stay.
Another great quote from Kucinich:
Today, it was announced that 2,000 more Marines are being sent to Anbar province—a place which was already declared “lost” for the purposes of military occupation. Why are we sacrificing our young men and women? Why are we keeping them in an impossible situation?
Indeed, WHY are we sacrificing our young men and women?
Bush's claim that, "A failed Iraq would make America less secure" is completely absurd bull, especially coming from someone that might go to trial once the war is over.
And the- we're not leaving as long as he's president - seems to be a challenge- directly telling us:
The only way to Bring the Troops Home is to Impeach Bush.
First we hold Congress' feet to the fire. 50,000 telegrams to Congress forced them to hold impeachment hearings on Nixon....

We can try that avenue, and if they don't act, then we'll have to start camping on the national mall. Beginning Now, ending when the nightmare is over.
