Rumsfeld gets an Earful from Military Wives in Fairbanks

Sep 13

Last week Rumsfeld came to Alaska and met with 800 family members of the 172 Stryker Brigade from Ft. Wainright. Reporters flew with Rummy on the plane, but weren't allowed into the meeting. Could this be why?

While hard to hear, it's certainly worth watching- it's good to see how much these military families want their troops home.

The question is hard to hear... she's asking Rummy if he can guarantee that another brigade was being prepared so that if their mission wasn't complete in 120 days, the 172nd would be replaced and not extended again. (followed by thunderous applause)
